Education
The Wayne State University Internal Medicine Residency Program's mission is to train physicians to become compassionate, outstanding internists skilled in the practice of Internal Medicine and committed to excellence and lifelong learning.
The resources available to our residents for training and education are outstanding. The Detroit Medical Center is one of the largest teaching complexes in the nation. Our residents rotate through a number of unique training sites to gain a broad exposure to clinical medicine.
The Endocrine Division provides the following educational activities:
- Endocrine pathophysiology course to 2nd year students of the Wayne State University School of Medicine
- Lectures on Endocrine Emergency to the Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center interns
- Lectures in Common Endocrine Problem to the Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center internal medicine residency program.
