The Endocrine Division provides inpatient and outpatient services for endocrine/hormones related diseases. Our physicians are board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic diseases and have specific expertise in the following diseases:
- Diabetes evaluation, treatment, education, and nutritional counseling.
- Diseases of lipids such as high cholesterol and/or triglyecerides.
- Obesity and metabolic syndrome.
- Osteoporosis, osteomalacia and Paget’s disease of bone.
- Thyroid diseases including thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.
- Calcium disorders and parathyroid diseases.
- Sex-hormone imbalance in males such as decreased libido, impotence and erectile dysfunction.
- Sex hormone imbalance in females such as irregular menstruations, lack of menses, milky discharge from breasts, excess facial and body hairs and decreased infertility.
- Menopause-related health problems.
- Diseases of the adrenal glands.
- Endocrine hypertension.
- Disorders of the pituitary gland
