The Endocrine Division provides inpatient and outpatient services for endocrine/hormones related diseases.  Our physicians are board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic diseases and have specific expertise in the following diseases:

  • Diabetes evaluation, treatment, education, and nutritional counseling.
  • Diseases of lipids such as high cholesterol and/or triglyecerides.
  • Obesity and metabolic syndrome.
  • Osteoporosis, osteomalacia and Paget’s disease of bone.
  • Thyroid diseases including thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.
  • Calcium disorders and parathyroid diseases.
  • Sex-hormone imbalance in males such as decreased libido, impotence and erectile dysfunction.
  • Sex hormone imbalance in females such as irregular menstruations, lack of menses, milky discharge from breasts, excess facial and body hairs and decreased infertility.
  • Menopause-related health problems.
  • Diseases of the adrenal glands.
  • Endocrine hypertension.
  • Disorders of the pituitary gland
